Spanning a total length of 37.9 km, this project aimed to enhance the safety and efficiency of the C-715 road between the sections from Camí de sa Siquia to Montuïri and from Montuïri to Manacor. The work was a collaborative effort involving multiple companies through a joint venture.
The newly designed road layout comprises a dual carriageway featuring two 3.5 m lanes in each direction, 2.5 m outer verges, 1.0 m inner verges, and a median delineated by concrete wall divisions measuring from 1.5 m to 6.0 m. The road averages a width of 23.8 m. To address key traffic points along the C-715, the project involved constructing five overpasses and 13 underpasses.
Additionally, 68.4 km of service roads were built on either side of the new route, facilitating access to properties and parallel roads. The contract includes a concession for the maintenance and operation of the C-715 for a duration of 30 years.
